1 November 2002 Toll Aquires Mayne Express

Toll Holdings Limited today announced that it had reached agreement with the Mayne Group to acquire its time critical Express operations in Australia. Toll Managing Director Paul Little said that “this acquisition represents an excellent outcome for Toll shareholders”.

“These businesses include express courier messenger services, air freight, road priority and mail room management. The acquisition effective the 11th of November will complement other Toll express activities and culminate in a wider range of integrated services to our customers” Mr Little said.

The businesses currently generate revenue in excess of $320 million.
